Jill and Chris~ Relaxed in Saint John

It’s really great when your clients end up being your friends but it’s also great when your friends end up being your clients. I’ve known Jill for years now.  We used to be co-workers but now we’re just friends so when she told me she was getting married I was thrilled that she asked me to be her photographer. Easily only of the sweetest girls ever with not a bad thought or word for anyone. Her wedding was superchill. We didn’t just do a first look, we all just hung out all day long. We had a blast trapsing around uptown Saint John and invading the City Market! Ironically it was the sunniest day ever in Saint John (what??) which limited where we could shoot uptown but we managed to have a great time and we entertained the lunch crowd in King Square.  The ceremony was beautiful and relaxed in the Public Gardens until we were invaded by every Prom kid in Saint John.  Yipes.  We ran! Jill’s folks hosted an excellent reception!! Congrats guys! Here’s your sneak peek!

jocelyn - These pictures are awesome! I’m glad they got such amazing weather because in SJ, that’s a rare occurrence. Dang those high school kids and their tendency to invade with layers of tulle and taffeta. Funny thing though, one of them was my sister, her prom was that evening!

julie whitlock - haha she must have been that beautiful girl that said ” hey guys, let them go first. they are a wedding” yeah… haha.right! When they got the permit for the park they told them there would be no other weddings but they forgot to mention a whole prom showing up. the kids looked amazing though. they put so much more effort in than i did when i went to prom that’s for sure! it was funny, during the wedding i kept seeing all these young girls watching the wedding looking really fancy. i figured they were just guests that were late or teen guests who were just playing it cool. then they kept multiplying… and having moms. and stealing the good picture spots. oh well. the perils of a tuesday wedding :)

Chantal Muise - Wow! Wow! Wow! You worked your magic again Julie! The pics are awesome…

Julie Whitlock - Thanks babe!
