Steve was on vacation last week so I got not too much done. Well, I got a lot of eating and shopping done but that wasn’t very productive!!! So I figured we might as well kill two birds by taking a location scouting trip on our time off!
I decided this window was trying to tell me something…Hmm… But what??
We found this cool sign painted on the ground outside the Algonquin hotel. I decided I wanted my picture taken with it so on the spot, in the ROAD I needed to teach him how to focus an SLR. Now… we did have the previous lesson where he could not get a CRUISESHIP ( hahahaha oh I love him) in focus so I was a little pessimistic. But Voila!!!
He did wonderfully!!!
We dropped in to fabulous Kingsbrae Gardens while we were there. If anyone is getting wed in St. Andrews I highly recommend it if you are looking for lush, floral and green photos.I loved this cozy little spot!! Steve was about done with being “the Bride” at this point!!
We loved this crazy chair so much we both had to have a go!!
After a fantastic lunch ( get fish and chips at the Kennedy Inn!! Yum!!) we headed to Saint John because after meeting with a new couple who got engaged at Mispec Beach Steve wanted to see it and see just how cold the water is!
Plus it was fun to try out my new chalkboard signs. These are a blast at Photobooths, Engagement, Grad Shoots… whatever!!!
Okay, it’s getting dark so time to head home!! Vacation time is over but we had a blast!!!

jocelyn - 1) I am in love with that photo of you on the road and the fact that you had to teach Steve how to use your camera.
