I went for a walk…

I woke up at 7:30 in the AM( ugh) today and couldn’t go back to sleep. I decided to go for a walk and I brought my camera with me.

I love wedding work. I love working with people. The interaction and non-stop action is challenging and brings unique results every time.

But once in awhile I like to get back to my roots in nature photography. It sharpens my skills for all those detail shots and keep me thinking in composition.

Though my favourite part of the walk was when a lady actually yelled at me ” I’d rather not have my picture taken” when my camera was aimed squarely in to a woodpile and facing the other way. Okay…. Sort of like a wedding. Everyone has that crazy auntie!!!
